The Hacker News ride was (is) wild. My site usually gets around 700 views per month. In the last couple of days it got almost 30K!
Is there a non-breaking em dash? I always have unfortunate breaks like this. Or is that fine? I guess it just looks weird to me.

Itās just a sweet sentiment. Itās important to rememberāsomeone will read your website. A tweet is dead on the vine. No one is gonna read your old Facebook note from years ago. But your website is timeless and someone will eventually read it.
Making your own website is rewarding in a way that a corporate social media profile never will be.

Canāt decide if I want to enact a house style rule to capitalize the āiā in internet on my blog. Lowercase probably adheres more to modern style but I like the way capitalizing it makes me feel like Iām in the 90s.

I was going to make a pithy post that I wanted a programming language that, rather than reporting errors, would just do its best to run the code.
I forgot about HTML and CSS.
Technology we have: Hallucinating artificial intelligence that can plagiarize art.
Technology I wish we had: A version of PHP that would tell me I forgot a semi-colon rather than sending me on a wild goose chase.
